It is designed under the spiritual guidance of Venerable Sumaṅgalā Bhikkhuṇī who is also the Abbess of Ariya Vihara.
The program includes bhāvanā practice, sutta study and discussion, and health awareness discussions which provide a holistic approach to aging gracefully.
The Bhāvanā practice includes mindfulness and concentration which help reduce stress, improve mental clarity, cultivating inner peace resulting in improved overall well-being.
Sutta study and discussion involves exploration of the Buddhist scriptures in order to deepen understanding of the Buddha’s teachings motivating participants to apply the practice to their daily lives.
